Abstract

This report comes as part of a Master degree of Nursing professional nature, with Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing. The aim of this work is to illustrate the journey performed during the Course of Training, accordingly with the purposes of it and with the planned activities. It also has the intention of promoting reflection on the practices and skills developed. The contents of this report, is based on the route developed during the apprenticeship that was composed by three modules. As cross-thematic, I choose IACS, not only for personal interest but also for the relevance of a concerted intervention in this scope, in any context of current Health. Module I was done in the context of Hospital Emergency attendance, in which skills were developed in the fields of professional responsibility, ethics and legal, quality improvement, care management, development of professional learnings and in providing specialized care for the critically ill. Module II, regarding the profissional environment, was performed in an Intensive Care Unit where the skills in the fields mentioned above were developed, and also the provision of specialized care focused on an individual subjected to cardiac surgery. Module III, on an optional basis, was achieved in the Control Commission of Hospital Infection, having being worked on, once again, the skills in the fields mentioned above, with the exception of the provision of specialized care, and with special focus intervention on the decontamination of endoscopy equipment and supplies. To achieve this purpose, I propose a global exhibition and reflection of this trajectory, pointing out the activities undertaken. In the end, some future suggestions will be made, and in final attachments, will set out several reports produced, as contributions left at the offices where the clinical practice was developed
