This report is written as a complementary document to the Final Project of the Masters in Sound Design program. The project titled "Peregrination, A Journey with no Destination" explores the creative process as an open-ended, evolving journey. Drawing inspiration from the concept of "peregrination"—a meandering, undefined journey— this work emphasizes exploration, self-discovery, and process over outcome. I discuss motivations and objectives that lead me to question my creative process. I examine the works of artists and the general state of the art that exists in this field. Over the course of the year, I use the technical and critical thinking skills that I learned during the Master’s Program to generate a body of work in addition to new experimentations. The project became a library of sounds catalogued in a form of a website, accompanied by a Manifesto of gathered inspiration. The result is an open ended creative journey aimed at reigniting the joy of creating that I aim to continue to use in my day-to-day practice.
