Prenatal exposure to alcohol has been a subject of concern by the scientific community, due to the higher increase in consumption during the gestational period, as well as the risks and consequences associated with this consumption, more precisely, the- Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). Regarding this, the present study wants to give voice to young university students, with the aim of exploring their perspectives and their knowledge regarding this issue, in order to contribute the implementation of effective preventive measures, with a view to reducing this consumption. Following a qualitative methodology, interviews were carried out using a semi-structured script. Subsequently, a semi-inductive approach to the data was used, using the NVivo software. The main results obtained show that the participants do not have a lot of information about the specific consequences of alcohol consumption during pregnancy and lack of information regarding guidelines for preventing this problem. In addition, they mention the intention not to drink in a future pregnancy, but being consumers, they present the main risk factor for consumption during pregnancy, namely, previous consumption. So, the results show the importance to update and improve information to public, based on scientific evidence.
