The person in critical condition and/or organ failure constitutes the focus of nursing care specialist. The skills inherent to specialized care were the guide wire for the analysis of my performance. This report is an analysis of a critical-reflexive moment of learning that took place in cardiology and polyvalent intensive care units as well as a document that supports my skills. Identifying specific skills inherent in the nurse specialist in person in a critical situation reflect on the specific skills of specialist nurses and specialist nurses in nursing person in critical condition; explicit experiences acquired over the moments of practice and develop document to support my learning and academic progress / professional, are the objectives for this report. To that I speak about my performance and my experiences and analyzed them in light of the skills inherent to the nurse specialist, also promoting a bibliographic research that supported my practice. The report is divided into two parts, one dedicates to my experiences in light of the basic skills of specialist nurses, and a second that reflects the experience and skills acquired on the perspective of the nurse specialist in person in critical condition. The structure aims to facilitate my own analysis of acquired skills, as well as reading and understanding of readers. The methodology used is the exhibition. My report is based in several documents form Ordem dos Enfermeiros, Direção Geral de Saúde, and other scientific articles. I got through this report skills and knowledge to care of the person in critical situation or critical organ failure. I demonstrated skills in the ethical, legal and liability terms, as well as quality and care management and development professional’s learning. The care of the person to experience complex processes of critical illness, the dynamics of responses to disasters and emergency multi-victim and the maximization of intervention in the prevention and control of infection are skills that I demonstrated throughout this stage and are reflected here. Contributes to learning in places where an intern through training and jobs made available, as well as through informal discussions and conversations with professionals. A detailed approach for each axis of the skills required allows a better understanding and analysis of my journey and my performance as well as assessing their achievement.
