Abstract

This Masters dissertation aims to study the phenomenon of Female Political Leadership, with the goal of analyzing the leadership practices of portuguese female political leaders, according to the conceptualization of Centered Leadership theory, while also examining the communication style that they use. By studying the theoretical concepts which are present on Centered Leadership Theory, providing an analysis that sheds light from other leadership theories, we aimed do verify its applicability on female political leadership in Portugal. Simultaneously, we aimed to study the reflection on political communication and leadership communication concepts on the communication style of female portuguese political leaders.
