This report, integrated in the work realized in the Supervised Teaching Practices (STP), integrated in “Mestrado em Ensino de Informática (MEI)” (Master’s in the Teaching of Information Technologies), from the “Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Faculdade de Ciências Sociais, Centro Regional de Braga” (Portuguese Catholic University – Social Sciences Faculty, Braga’s Regional Centre). This Masters Degree course offers its students the opportunity to undertake a teaching practice in a school context and an orientation for the activities that we proposed. The STP has enabled us to put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired during the Masters course, namely the proper appropriation of concepts such as C.P.A. and techniques / models of empirical research. It is intended to inform of our practices not only in the classroom but also, through experiences in planning, teaching-learning and assessment, encompassing the whole school. Therefore, we produced this report, following the implementation of a set of curricular and non curricular practices implemented at the school where we held the PES. In the scientific research component, we focussed our study on the robotics club of the school in which the STP took place, designated as “ESA Robots”. A robotics education is an extremely interesting and rich technological resource in the process of teaching-learning as it complements the full development of the student, allowing for a dynamic activity, permits a cultural development and, as a citizen, making him autonomous, independent and responsible. Our study aimed to analyze the impact of robotics in education, address the practical application of robotics in an interdisciplinary curriculum and to verify if robotics contributes to students' motivation and commitment as a determining factor for success in school, so we conducted a study case with 22 students who belonged to that club. The data we have collected, has allowed us to conclude that educational robotics is transversal to other disciplines, thus contributing to the development of transversal skills in promoting and commitment of the students as a determining factor for success in school.
