Abstract

When the factors that lead to job satisfaction are properly considered, benefits to the companies and to their workforce may anise, as costs may be saved leading to a higher competitiveness of the business, which itself may lead to higher profits, maximizing the output of the workers. The present study exposes a brief theoretical vision about satisfaction in an organizational context, examining several aspects of job satisfaction, namely the causes and consequences developed in the literature. Therefore, the main objective of the study is to analyze the most relevant determinants of job satisfaction of the workers of the company Talenter. Regarding the methodology, it was selected a case study in the firm Talenter, using a questionnaire survey made to ali the active employees of the firm to collect the data. The results obtained allowed to identify the variables supervision and coworkers as the oves which exhibit higher satisfaction for Talenter's employees, thus contributing to enhance their overall job satisfaction. On the contrary, the variables which exhibit higher dissatisfaction are salary, benefits and working conditions. It was finally determined that, in general, the overall job satisfaction is neutral, which means that the employee's job satisfaction is at an intermediate level.
