Abstract

Organizational Socialization processes, such as welcoming and integration practices, are increasingly a part of the bedrock of the organizations’ management, and its goal is to develop the human capital, considered a basic factor in the organizational success. In this context, this document studies how welcoming and integration practices, important phases of organizational socialization, done by the CH Group promotes the involvement and organizational employees’ identification. For this study, several employees were interviewed who have been socialized through the processes mentioned and the head of the Human Resources Department, main responsible for it, as well as documentary research and the subsequent content analysis of all information.
On the results, this study illustrates a situation in which, at the welcoming, integration and involvement and organization identification domains, it is visible the alignment between the State of the Art, the organizational practice of the company studied and perception from subjects involved in this processes.
