This paper aims to contribute to the promotion of self-regulated learning in schools by identifying, reflecting and improving of self-regulated learning processes in 2nd cycle students. The literature review indicates that the increase in motivation and academic success is due in large part to the promotion of self-regulation skills (Pintrich, 2004; Rosario, 2004b; Zimmerman, 2000, 2002). It was developed a self-regulated learning program called Study + for students and training activities for teachers, parents and guardians for implementation in schools. The program uses the Model PLEA selfregulation model of learning proposed by Rosario et al. (2007) and intends to intervene to promote the academic success of students.
