In the last century, demographic changes, which are reflected in the growing aging population and declining birth rates, have been put the families and European societies, challenges for which they were not prepared (Sousa, Galante & Figueiredo, 2003), where by, promoting the quality of life in elderly population emerge as priority. This study had the objective of explore the impact in the interventions (social and housing) on the quality of life in the elderly group. Through a mixed methodology they were involved, 31 participants, with ages between 66 and 95 years, being used at first moment, the WHOQOL-Bref to evaluate the level of quality of life of the participants after the interventions have been implemented. In a second moment were realised interviews, through the interview guide of exploration perceived impact of the RHIS in the quality of life of the participants. The main results show that both interventions had a positive impact on dimensions - physical, psychological, social and environment - the quality of life of this group of elderly, demonstrating the psychological dimension.
