Abstract
Talking about the acceleration of demographic aging and its economic, social andpolitical implications is increasingly common in contemporary societies. Although the
aging process is pronounced by the general decline of the individual's physical and mental
capacities, there is an increasing concern about ensuring that the elderly not only have
greater longevity, but also happiness, personal satisfaction and quality of life.
The aim of this investigation is assessing a social innovation project called "Before I
Die ..." as a process that promotes happiness, well-being and quality of life of the elderly.
For this purpose, we use the interviews with the project participants and the technical team,
as well as other documentary sources.
The method used for data collection was a case study and qualitative data analysis.
The data suggest a positive impact of the project in promoting well-being, happiness
and the quality of life of the participants.
