Quick-commerce has gained substantial importance in the era of online shopping. Throughout the global pandemic, many customers got even more used to ordering goods online, increasing their demands for quicker deliveries (Gramling et al., 2021). Fonte Negócios Online holds several businesses in the e-commerce market, having developed a new one in the wholesaler’s market: Recheio Express. The company’s main objective for this business is to provide fast deliveries with a maximum lead time of 02h00 and 30-minute delivery time windows. They intend on offering a fast, intuitive, and user-friendly experience throughout the whole website, accompanied by quick and efficient deliveries, enabling time-saving. The study’s main objective is to understand how operations combined with technology can make Recheio Express’ deliveries fast, enabling Quickcommerce. For the present study, in which it’s intended to understand and describe the main dimensions included in the company’s delivery process as well as the identification of possible improvements, a case study methodology was adopted. The data collection techniques were interviews allied to documental analysis. This enabled a better understanding of the overall business’ processes, operations, and used technology, as well as the identification of a few suggestions for future improvements, taking into consideration the study’s main pain points. The suggested improvements center mainly on strategies for increased speed and efficiency, such as implementing a routing algorithm and making a few adaptations to technologies already in place to reduce pain points.
