In this report, we intend to expose the route taken during the stage under the atelier. The route involved an integration of a multidisciplinary team working, with participation in a rehabilitation project consists of four buildings located in the Historic Downtown District of Viseu. The report is structured in two phases, the first a theoretical reflection on the theme that involves the rehabilitation and the second presents the description of the activities and functions designed workshop, which were supported by a comprehensive survey was carried out and documented. The project concerns the desertification problem of Historic Centres with a timely intervention, a built set of the Historical Center of Viseu. The intervention program established foresaw the conversion of four buildings, formerly used as offices with the exception of number 45 that was housing, a housing and housing in a mixed-model - and hostel accommodation. The completion of this stage proved to be of enormous importance, not only by the source that provided learning about the complexities of the human habitat solving challenges in a changing society, as well as the physical realization of something that juts out and is no longer utopian culminating in the rehabilitation of four buildings, now equipped with new capabilities for socio-economic development, contributing to local revitalization.
