The current dynamics of knowledge and learning are in disagreement with traditional ways of teaching practice and curricular approach. It is necessary to adapt the role of the teacher for the knowledge society, in particular, it is essential that it moves to create an educational situation where the construction of knowledge is held by the student through an active pedagogy, innovative, supported by the discovery, dialogue, in the intellectual autonomy and in the achievement of significant learning environments culturally rich, creative and stimulating. The intention is to demonstrate the added value of the pedagogical point of view in the use of educational multimedia resources in the teaching the visual arts. The strategy is based upon the conception of a communication platform (Web site) capable of enhancing students' autonomy and consequently endows them with a set of skills to learn throughout life. The intention is not an abandonment of traditional methods and supports used in visual arts classes and that throughout the history of pedagogy proved to contribute to the education of the student, but integrating teaching practice in digital literacy.
