Abstract

The presente work aims to study and analyze cryptocurrencies, emphasizing the path being taken in terms of regulation and taxation. To this end, it characterizes them, also referring to their competitive models in order to better understand this new category. The process of how cryptocurrencies were born and developed and how we got to where we are today is described. In a world where the struggle for regulation and taxation, so that the market that regulates them becomes more efficient and transparent, wins out.
