Abstract

The aim of the present research is to explore the relationship between instagram use and body satisfaction in men, in a sample of 205 male subjects, aged between 18 and 35 years old, given the scarcity of studies in the Portuguese context. To this end, 3 evaluation instruments were applied: Sociodemographic Questionnaire, Instagram Addition Questionnaire and Rating Scale of Satisfaction with Body Image. The results show there is a statistically significant correlation between instagram use and satisfaction with appearance.
