Relação terapêutica em enfermagem de saúde mental e psiquiátrica

Abstract

This report was prepared within the scope of the Master's Degree in Nursing of a professional nature with specialization in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing of the Health Sciences Institute of the Portuguese Catholic University. The period covered by this report is from September 3 to December 19, 2018. It is divided into two contexts: Adolescent Day Hospital and Reference Therapists Activity (follow-up in the community). This document aims to describe and reflect on the training course carried out throughout the Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing specialty. The same translates the analysis and critical reflection of the developed and acquired competences inherent to the Specialist Nurse in Mental and Psychiatric Health and Master in Nursing. It also shows the progress and factors that contributed to my learning and experienced difficulties related to the lived experiences and the achievement of the objectives and interventions outlined. The stage, due to the multiplicity of situations encountered, allowed the provision of specialized care in the field of mental and psychiatric health nursing, based on the therapeutic relationship and Mindfulness throughout the nursing intervention. In both contexts, the mobilization of knowledge, knowledge, reflections and debates in the sense of personal and professional development stands out. This training course contributed to the acquisition and development of a diverse range of professional and personal skills, namely those of the Specialist Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing and Master in Nursing.
