This report aims to describe, analyse and discuss clinical cases underlying training to master's degree in Dentistry at the Catholic University of Viseu Regional Centre during the current school year. The clinical activity in the first semester was performed at the University of Szeged in Hungary under the Erasmus + mobility program. The interaction with different realities requires an adaptation to new techniques, ways of working and to adjust and improve the means of communication with people of different culture. The mobility semester allowed the collection of data of the differences in working methods undertaken in the university clinic. In this clinical report is to conduct an analysis on the different realities of dentistry in Portugal and Hungary. The form of communication Medical / Patient is another topic covered in this document. The possibility of the language barrier could be a problem for an effectively treatment is another item to be discussed. In clinical practice of a dentist it is important a good response to medical level, not forgetting the social part and the importance for an appropriate treatment for each type of person. The social environment of the patient must be respected and the most favorable solution should be found to provide the patient the best quality of life possible, never forgetting his opinion.
