Abstract

This report was conducted within the thesis work and experimentation I and II with a combined value of 17 credits, and intends to report the work done in the Clínica Universitária of UCP - CRB. The main objectives of this report are, divulge the clinical practice experienced, and a source of information for teachers and for students, about the knowledge acquired.The collected information was inserted in a database created by the author (using the platform EXCEL). The study variables are: sex, age, clinical area, diagnosis, treatment performed and the reason of first visit. The objective is to characterize the population.This information is presented in the form of a report, organized by clinical areas. The clinical areas are: Dentistry, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics Removable, Fixed Prosthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Occlusion, Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine.The contact with this disciplines, enables the student to acquire practical, and theoretical knowledge. The contact with a big number of patients and conditions, enables the development of capabilities in terms of diagnosis and therapy, as well as provides a first contact with a service of dentology. The contact with different teachers, allowing an advantageous exchange of knowledge and professional experiences, this contact improves also a professional enrichment.Two clinical cases will be presented at the end, will be explained the medical history, diagnosis, treatment plan, including photographs and Rx.
