Abstract

The presentation of this professional activity report aims to obtain a Master’s Degree
in Psychology – specialization in Clinical and Health Psychology, according to the regulation
of the Catholic Portuguese University – Philosophy and Social Sciences Faculty of Braga, in
order to obtain the Master’s Degree for Pre-Bologna graduates.
In writing this report, we tried to demonstrate the application, during the professional
practice over the last thirteen years1, of professional skills in what concerns Psychology.
Towards this goal, its structure is organized into six parts: the first part, focuses on the
characterization of the institution where we work as a clinical psychologist; the second part,
pursues a literature review and a theoretical framework of techniques and therapeutic
strategies, used in the context of individual and group psychological intervention; the third
part, depicts the development of six clinical cases; the fourth part, presents a psychological
group intervention entitled “No to Burnout!”; the fifth part, describes a training course with
the theme “Play Therapy for Children” and the sixth and last part, contains a reflection on this
work.
