From the developed activities, we can highlight the identification of training needs and taking action, in order to fulfill those needs. Investigation and bibliographic research was held in an effort to substantiate care practice, as well as an instrument of advertising guidelines of the infection control committees and management practices of human and material resources were performed. The developed skills were promoted by the development of professional experience, valuing formal and informal training, concerning the practice of skills in management care, as well as maximizing the intervention in prevention and infection control towards the individual in critical state and/or in organic failure. The development of skills described in this report are the result of self-inflicted learning, within a reflexive critic paradigm of consumption and creation of knowledge, making this reflection the basis to the construction of new knowledge, intending to promote updated quality care practice and meaning gain in health to the population in general
