Abstract

This report describes the processes of planning, development and evaluation of training modules conducted within the functional content of the Post-Graduate Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing, to be an overall assessment on their experiences and reflected. Described in this report are in chronological order, the module II was carried out at intermediate Care Surgical in Hospital Pedro Hispano, the module I in the Emergency at the same hospital, and finally the module III - pre-hospital care performed at the National Emergency Medical, whose methodology is descriptive and analytical. The report highlights what has been accomplished during the internship, through critical reflection of the specific objectives set for each module, gives visibility to the activities undertaken to achieve the same, reports the situations and problems encountered, referring to the suggested strategies and their implementation for its resolution, as well as mention of the acquired competencies. The Stage has helped achieve a global integration, as well as develop and deepen the knowledge and skills inherent to the degree of Nurse Specialist Medical-Surgical Nursing at the level of theoretical and practical components. It was also possible to develop decision-making, favoring an acquisition of autonomy in future professional performance as Nurse Specialist. Were acquired during the internship and / or develop certain skills, it was necessary to do so, acquire other knowledge, which allowed to link theory and practice in order to develop a critical-reflective, which increased my preparation for mobilize, strengthen and make a constant updating of knowledge in order to better adapt to new situations and consequent response to the constant challenges of nursing. We conclude that the stages have expanded the fields in providing supervision, training and care management for the award of tittle of nurse specialist in medical-surgical nursing
