Abstract

This document is a report of the undertaken activities, where we explain our critical reviews, and give a glimpse of the competencies we acquired throughout the clerkships, within the framework of the Master program in Nursing, with a specialization in medical-surgery nursing. The clerkships reflect our personal and professional preferences, in the subjects and in the places where they were undertaken: Module I – Emergency Room of Peniche’s Hospital; Module III (Elective) – Intra-hospital Support Team for Palliative Care of Instituto Português de Oncologia de Francisco Gentil of Lisbon. We chose literature review and reflection as work methodologies to write down this report. The objectives are: describe the activities undertaken during the clerkships; analyze critically our performance. All in all, reviewing all we learned, the knowledge and the competencies we acquired we consider that we reached the level of a Specialist Nurse we projected at the beginning of this program
