This document is the result of a grueling formation path of and mirrors, critically and methodically, the many levels of acquaintance in Nursing: Knowing-how to Be, Knowing how to Do, and Knowing Knowledge. It is part of the scope for the Master's Degree in Nursing with Specialization in Child and Peadiatric Health Nursing at the Institute of Health Sciences (ICS) – Porto, by Universidade Catolica Portuguesa, introduced in the Final Practicum and Report. All of it is guided by a descriptive and reflective methodology, founded by assumptions and deductions in the analysis of the learning process in the contexts of: Hospitalization in Paediatrics, Neonatology and Paediatric Emergency Services, also making a brief reference to the skills acquired in the internship in Health Care Primary related to the class “Child and family health - Surveillance and clinical decision”. This entire process took into account the most current scientific evidence, therefore contemplating the analysis and reflection on the skills acquired in the different domains: Care Delivery, Management, Training and Research, as well as the goals and activities outlined in the different contexts carried out. In addition to addressing themes and subjects in different contexts such as: communication skills, the parenting and caring partnership, this reflection covered other topics such as hospitalization of the child and family, child/youth and family care in urgency/emergency situation, the use of Manchester Triage and the provision care in premature newborn using the NIDCAP philosophy. This diversity of experiences, lived and shared, endorsed my personal and professional development, as well as acquired the skills listed by the study plan that allow me to obtain a Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialization in Nursing Child and Paediatric Health.
