Abstract

The main reason for admit a person at a health facility is the demand for nursing care Joseph (2007). To analyze the impact of nursing profession in the person and the results of the organization, the author provides a model where the prospect of caring must be central and characteristics are influential in the professional care of the person in the establishment of a link nurse / Individual or Family out and analyzed the results obtained with the Individual or Family. Collière (1999) refers to a temporary or permanent reciprocity with the person and the care process is inserted into a system of beliefs and values held by the caregiver and who are provided care. The results in access to advanced practice nursing is increasingly a more important role. According to Williams referenced by Marques (2000), client satisfaction by nursing care has a direct influence on satisfaction of hospital care. According to the author the person has expectations for nursing care, influenced by social, cultural, personality and health. The perception and interpretation of information by the person, is the subjectivity of the experience of nursing care. Establish the concept of Individual from the perspective of Paradigm Transformation, defined according to Kerouac, Pepin, Ducharme, Duquette and Major (2002) as a partner in care. I set up my speech in the acquisition of skills such as Specialist Nurse, with a view to meet the needs of the Person and Family, with nursing interventions that can be classified in their effect, considering the indicators to assess the provision of nursing care. The control over the practice establishes uniform procedures, to ensure the improvement of quality of care. From the perspective of prevention and infection control approach to managing risk, identifying areas of potential risk of development of events is not expected, came determine my intervention at this stage, analysis and action in specific vascular access care center. This factor should be considered as an indicator in determining the quality of nursing care provided, as evidenced by the rate of infection associated with central venous catheters. This report establishes three perspectives, a direct approach on the intervention of a Nurse Specialist in different contexts, with a general framework for providing care to the Individual and Family, performance analysis and understanding of its effect, with the acquisition of new skills. I believe that the effect of nursing care in the person can be considered as an indicator of quality of care, describing the role of the Nurse Specialist and quantifying the action of the nursing team.
