Abstract

With the elaboration of this report, I itend to describe the activities during the three modules of Stage of the Post-Graduate Specialization in Community Nursing, which allowed the acquisition of skills in family and community health. The three modules of stage were carried out in Health Center of Leça da Palmeira within the framework of School Health and focused attention in the use of substances. Throughout this report exposes the path taken, describing the health diagnostic process of the school community in the School EB 2/3 of Perafita, with their respective nursing care needs, that culminated in the development and evaluation of the project intervention "Os Jovens e as (In)Dependências". The project covers four areas, where the working group, consisting of four elements, decided that each one would be responsible for one of these areas, therefore, the activities described in this report are related to the intervention on the focus, use of drugs: cannabis/hashish. This project had as its starting point “what they know” and “what they can do” to protect themselves by developing in each one, the ability to interpret reality and act to induce attitudes and/or appropriate behavior, assuming a permanent attitude of empowerment.
