Abstract

Under the scope of the Master, of professional nature, in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, I was proposed to deliver an Internship Report. To prepare this report I used a descriptive and analytical methodology using daily analysis and reflection of my performance on the Internship Project. The present report refers to three distinct modules from the Master’s plan of studies. The first one concerns the promotion of life styles, the Early Diagnosis and the Prevention in the Community and in Health Centers. The activity took place at Rio de Mouro Health Center- ACES IX- “Agrupamento Dos Centros de Saúde: Algueirão - Mem Martins”. I was excused from the second Module because of my extensive experience in crisis intervention unit whith adults. Finally, the third Module promotes the development of specialized skills in Mental Health and Psychiatry. I selected the healthy life styles program. The selected institution to develop my internship study was International Medical Assistant, where I got field experience with homeless people.
