This report intends to gather all my learning process along the masters course, witnessing it’s importance in my personal and professional development. Represents the realized journey in the achievement of the objectives outlined to the different modules of the internship. The internship began with the module II, that focused on developing skills for crisis intervention in adults, in the context of mental health and psychiatry, constituting not only a facilitator of the process of learning as well as future work to develop as a nurse specialist in Primary Health Care. The modules I and III were developed in the context of work in the promotion of lifestyles, early diagnosis and prevention in the community, mental health and psychiatry, and fell on the problem of informal caregiver burden of chronic dependent person, initiating a project to be continued after completion of the internship. Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing allows specialized intervention, throughout all phases of the life cycle of the individual, family, group and community, resulting in health benefits. Having more specific formation in this area allows me to develop skills for advanced nursing care to people with mental health problems, making me more able to respond to a wide variety of needs in the community.
