Abstract

This report intends to highlight the work that I have done in my curricular unit Estágio de Enfermagem Médico-cirúrgica that belongs to the V Master Course, in the Specialization ofMedical-Surgical Nursing. The internship had three modules, conducted in the following chronological order: emergency department, intensive care and palliative care. On the Emergency Department I experienced to providing care to the person and family in a critical condition at the emergency room: medical emergencies and multiplethem for the nursing care to the person who has received a lung transplanted. In the Intensive Care Unit I had the opportunity to increase my knowledge and mobilize him, taking care of patients in critical condition, with mechanical ventilation, hypothermic person and respective protocol therapeutic and with respiratory failure. I also provided nursing care to patients who need renal replacement therapy. I had the opportunity to reflect with my partners the daily practice in nursing care on the patients submits to non-invasive ventilation improving them. I identified the need and realized a procedure related to isolation, containment and protective situations. In Palliative Care had experienced to provide homecare to patients and family with advanced and progressive disease.
