The present report describes the activities performed during the curricular internship integrated in the master´s degree in Family Psychology, developed at Oficina de São José – Childhood and Youth home (OSJ) that occurred between September of 2013 and June of 2014. The Osj has the purpose of harbouring children and youngsters who are separate from their original family environment due to various reasons, providing an integral education fostered by Christian values and morals, as well as enabling knowledge to overcome future life challenges. There were also training actions performed centered around the theme of the resilience directed toward technicians and a group intervention directed to youngsters about the comprehension of their own history e about the concept of resilience. We also performed an individual accompaniment of a 15 year old with the objective of reintegrating his family history, exploring the possibility of existing support. Other activities were executed, namely he creation of “the Psychology Corner” and the organization of Family Day. This report is divided into 5 parts: The presentation of the Home as an institution, it´s goals and the psychologist role. Then describe the observations performed and the necessities revealed as well report of the activities developed and the reflections made upon them. Finally, we present the conclusions and reflection on the experience.
