This internship report is part of the Masters in Clinical and Health Psychology, at the Faculdade de Filosofia of Centro Regional de Braga. This internship was carried out at FACes, situated at the Faculdade of Filosofia of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and lasted nine months (506 hours). This document is intended to provide a description of the activities performed by us as an intern during the academic year of 2013/2014 that toke place at FACes. The realization of a curricular internship is a unique opportunity to obtain assessment and intervention skills in a clinical context of higher education. This curricular internship has enabled us, the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired academically, to allow us to develop the skills required so that in the future, we may exercise our professional activity, with excellence. Therefore, this paper presents, first, a characterization of the institution and the role of the professional psychologist in this context. And then, we will describe the observational activities that were conducted as well as we will reflect on the institutional needs that were found. Finally, the activities of assessment, intervention and training developed will be presented. This document finishes with a brief reflection on what we learnt by doing this internship.
