Abstract

The following internship report intended to describe the internship activities, referring to the 2nd academic year of the Master in Clinical and Health Psychology, the school year 2012/2013. The curricular internship was held at Projeto Homem de Braga institution, in Comunidade Terapêutica and Reinserção Social, their valences, for a period of 8 months (about 700 hours), allowing knowledge of a new reality, the world of consumption, drug addiction and alcoholism. Having as internship goals the application of the different theoretical approaches, the learning skills assessment and psychological intervention and the promoting contact, and knowledge of the good practices of appropriate and independent professional techniques, the stage included a set of evaluation activity, individual and group intervention, and action training activities. So the internship report is grouped into three distinct parts: characterization of the institution and the role of the psychologist; characterization of the observation and survey of community needs; and developed activities (individual accompaniments, group interventions and action training). Thus, the curricular internship allowed the development of professional and ethical responsibilities, in clinical and health psychology.
