The following document, belonging part in Curricular Unit - Relatório, within the cope of the Mestrado Profissional em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica - Instituto de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Católica do Porto, builds itself as a ulterior tool in description and analysis of the learning process in the curricular internship context. The internship in Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica compraises three modular parts, Módulo I - Children’s health, Módulo II - Medical and Surgical Pediatrics and Módulo III - Emergency and Neonatology. Each one of the modules had 180 contact hours and 70 individual effort hours. The main objective of this paper is to describe the projected personal objectives and the developed activities during the curricular internship, in order to reach and consolidate specialized skills in the four domains of Nursing activity, which are Caring, Caring management, Investigation and Formation. The methodology used is descriptive, critical and reflective supported by bibliographical research, as well as the mobilization of knowledge acquired throughout my personal, academic and professional career. This course, conducted throughout the different care contexts, focuses on specialized nursing care for the child and family, in the sense of promoting child development and adapting to health and disease processes
