Abstract

The probation report aims to describe and analyze the activities developed during Stage Course, for the acquisition of specific skills within the Masters in Nursing with specialization in Community Nursing. The stage was developed at the Community Care Unit of Leça da Palmeira. According to the methodology of Health Planning, on the 1st stage we developed a Diagnostic Status within the School Health and had a target population of 81 professionals (early childhood educators and assistants operating), Private Institutions and Private Social Solidarity Institutions area scope of the Community Care Unit. With this it was possible to identify the main needs of these professionals to promoting healthy lifestyles in children. After, it was proceeded to Priority Setting, querying a group of four experts in the field, emerging as priority areas for intervention, Physical Activity and Health and the Environment: Sun Care. In 2nd module stage were developed three Community Intervention Projects: "Physical Activity in Preschool", "Environment and Health: Sun Care" and "Health Fair". The first two projects consisted in a set of Actions Health Education to increase the knowledge of the target population in order to promote healthy lifestyles in children, on these priority areas. In the first project was present 59% of the target population and the second was present 68%. In the evaluation, we applied a questionnaire at the beginning and end of the sessions. There were gains in knowledge in relation to physical activity (15%) and the Environment and Health: Sun Care (26%). The project "Health Fair" was directed to the whole school community in order to promote healthy lifestyles in children. In 3rd stage module was developed Plan Training Service of the Community Care Unit of Leça da Palmeira for the year 2013. Proceeded to survey the needs of the team, using the existing questionnaire and was made the planning of training activities. This work also referenced other activities that allowed the acquisition and development of skills in area of specialization in Community Nursing.
