The completion of this report comes under the Post-Graduation with Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing, showing the route done in traineeship held at a Burns Unit, Emergency Services and the National Institute of Medical Emergency. This traineeship enabled the acquisition and development of technical, scientific and human assistance to adult and elderly patients in critical conditions and experience processes of health / sudden illness, by providing specialized care to the patient and family of medium / high risk, promoting job training, encouraging personal and professional growth of other nurses, development of autonomy, reflexive and critical mind, active participation in organizational development of institutions as well as increasing the importance of prevention and control of hospital infection in the different fields of the traineeship. The purpose of this report is to clarify and highlight the activities along the traineeship their critical analysis and reflective, their reasoning through literature. This report has an objective, clear, concrete and concise nature, to which will be used an expository methodology through the objectives, activities and skills hit with the traineeship, and critical-reflexive methodology in their analysis and awareness of what was the developed work and the acquired experience. So, structurally, this document is divided into chapters, starting with the Introduction followed by the reasoning of the developed activities and skills acquired by the outlined goals. Finally the conclusion, that in a reflective analysis aims to analyse the contributions that this course provided in our career from a generalist nurse to a specialised one. In synopsis, the title of this report reflects the "compromise" which we embraced as well as the developed efforts, so its elaboration met the expectations which are vital in building the identity of Nurse Specialist in "quality and excellence" of caring.
