Abstract

This Internship Report forms part of the syllabus of the Master's Degree in Nursing with specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing, whose goal is to include the entire training process of acquiring, training and skills development, scientific, technical, human and ethical arising course Stage - module III in Pre Hospital Care and module II in Intensive Care. The methodology chosen for this work is based on the descriptive and analytical method. Constituting the presentation and critical reflection of the activities, situations / problems identified and implemented strategies / suggested for their resolution, which complemented the process of development of expertise, according to the common areas of competence of the nurse specialist. Presents each skill developed in relation to their general attributes, such as “descriptor of competence ", breaking it down into smaller segments, describing the knowledge, skills and operations that have been performed and implemented in different work situations. Specifying larger segments of each jurisdiction, the amount recognized in the process as "Unit of racing.” This route making skills honed ethical-deontological decision. I integrated new knowledge into practice. Develop competence interpersonal communication with the patient, family and multidisciplinary team. Perfected skills of differentiated pain management and wellness. Strengthening social skills such as assertiveness, but also personal skills that can interfere with relationships. Searched skills essential to effective exercise of leadership, such as motivation and ability to influence. Resulting from this route a high degree of operability, flexibility and expertise to meet the demands of modern society regarding Medical-Surgical Nursing.
