This report aims to describe the activities carried out under the academic internship integrated in the 2nd cycle program studies of the Sound and Image course, at School of Arts, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, specialization in Computer Animation (2020-2021 academic year). The internship was held for 24 weeks at Ground Control Studios, a technology company in video game development and business to business. Through the integration in the workflow of one of the projects under development in the welcoming entity, the internship had two general objectives, to broaden the understanding of the profession of 3D modeler, articulating acquired knowledge and to develop skills and professional attitudes suitable for a quality professional development. This report is organized into five chapters: the first chapter introduces the internship experience, the second one, presents the work area, the welcoming entity, as well as the motivations and objectives of the internship and respective schedule; in the third chapter, a theoretical support of the developed activities is made; and in the fourth chapter, the presentation of the software resources used is made and a detailed description of the workflow of the models created; finally, in chapter five, I present the final considerations about the work carried out and the internship experience. The internship provided a basis and reference point for thinking the areas of work that 3D modeling involves. The iterative nature of creating 3D models for animation has enabled the development of professional and social skills through broadening the knowledge needed to express questions and find solutions to problems.
