This report comes as part of the course of the Post-Graduate in Nursing with Specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Institute of Health Sciences, which reports the objective and reflective journey of learning performed on stage, The entire sequence reported was based on the typical route in critically ill patients conducted at emergency department, intensive and intermediate care unit, and responds thus a requirement teaching. The methodology adopted for its implementation is descriptive, with the experiences experienced patent over the stage, and the product of scientific research carried out. How common thread in all these contexts assistance emphasizes a person's right to privacy and the dimension of spirituality, concerned mostly in relief for the second intervention plan. It indicates an introduction, followed by contextualization of training modules referred to the description of activities and skills acquired/developed in providing patient care, and the conclusion, based on an attitude of constant reflection and based on an analysis of information collected actively, using a broad literature review. Any stage allowed the provision of care to the adult patient in urgency/emergency/critical and provided unique experiences and essential for the development of human, scientifics, technical, relational and ethical skills. Another contribution was the opportunity to submit in-service training, including on "Privacy and Communication" and "Spirituality and Health" always an underlying quality of professional practice. This is the result of a long way, it was possible a demonstration evolutionary capacity in decision-making, never forgetting the ethical code of conduct, nor the continuous improvement of the quality of professional practice.
