Abstract

This report is part of the Communitary Nursing Specialization Post-Degree Course and aims to describe and analyze the activities developed in the training over 18 weeks through the Nursing Center of Católica, in the institution Obra Diocesana de Promoção Social. More specifically, it is my aim to consider the different competencies acquired and/or reforced during this period.This document is divided in two chapters. The first chapter contextualizes and describes briefly the training, particularly the places where I have passed and in which dates. The second chapter is a reflection over the acquired competencies in professional context and the acquired and/or reforced ones during the training.Taking as reference the set of competencies defined by Universidade Católica Portuguesa in order to obtain the Specialization in Communitary Nursing, as the Master’s Degree in Nursing, the first part of the second chapter focuses the presentation of competencies acquired with our professional experience. On the other hand, the second part of the same chapter pretends to describe and analyze the competencies acquired in training, at the level of all the framed domains of all the activities accomplished, particularly the Planning in Health and the training.
