Abstract

It is trough clinical practice, formation and research that the Specialist consolidates the knowledge and skills that allows her to assist the child and family in different situations, respecting the individuality, promoting health, preventing and treating disease, and providing palliative and rehabilitation care. This Final Report of Clinical Practice was performed in the context of the Master's Degree in Nursing with Specialization in Child Health and Pediatrics Care. Its goal is to describe my path achievements, representing a last learning exercise. The clinical practice began with the construction of a project that included the main global goals to achieve during each clerkship in Child Health and Child Care. The clinical practice took place in Extensão de Saúde Urbana – Famalicão, in Serviço de Pediatria Crianças e Adolescentes do Hospital Escala Braga and in Serviço de Urgência Pediátrica do Centro Hospitalar do Tâmega e Sousa, Entidade Pública Empresarial. Throughout the learning path, I aimed to achieve the self-proposed goals and the acquisition of skills in the areas of care, training, management and research, which were outlined in the Guide of Clinical Practice of the Course MEESIP
