The scale of resources and complexity of illness imposed with “natural” differentiation of professionals who are trained to be able to maximize and prioritize the use of each of these skills. The training allows the development of critical and reflective thinking in the context of their practice in order to provide the patient care quality. The acquisition of skills, technical skills, planning and decision making towards complex and unpredictable situations is an asset to the professional quality. Thus arises the need to attend the Course of Specialization in Medical-Surgical Institute of Health Sciences run by the Catholic University, Centro Regional das Beiras. Stage of the three modules of the course curriculum EEMC, we conducted two to, Module III (Optional) was given equivalency. Stage II module was implemented in the Unit of Surgical Patient Monitoring in HSTV-EPE, from April 26 to June 26, with a workload of 180 hours. Stage I module was implemented in the emergency department of HSTV-EPE, from January 3 to February 26, with a workload of 180 hours. The learning done in the context theory/practice helped to solidify at a lot of Knowledge. The literature review carried out at each stage, activities implemented, led to the acquisition of technical and scientific expertise. The method that was used to complete this report consists of acquired skills and a descriptive exhibition and a reflection according to bibliography. In summary, rewarding work over the stages, allowed us to achieve the original objectives and acquire the skills to professional practice as a nurse
