Abstract
This report reflects on the tasks and functions developed during the curricular internship in the sound department at the production company Bando À Parte, in the field of Sound for Cinema. Considering the diversity of work in the Sound Department of the production company, during the 6 months of internship, knowledge and abilities acquired during the training obtained in the Sound and Image master's degree, specialization in Sound Design were applied. The dissertation also includes a review of the current literature on the state of the art in sound for cinema, covering a historical context of sound for cinema and also the latest techniques and technologies used in sound capture, editing, and mixing, like the impact of Artificial Intelligence in the industry.| Date of Award | 9 Feb 2024 |
