Abstract
In recent years, the CJEU made some decisions related with the sport’s industry, mainly due to rules developed by their governing bodies which are against the European Union Law. That happened because those organisations and their rules are usually made without taking into consideration that they do not live in an isolated environment and there are many other factors that must be valued while dealing with the sport’s industry. However, the emerging of a phenomenon such as the “sportswashing” has gone unnoticed by the eyes of the Court. This leads to question: how may this phenomenon be approached within the EU Law and by the Court?| Date of Award | 14 Nov 2025 |
