The present study was designed to identify leadership profiles according to established companies and startups leader perception, regarding leadership style (e.g transformational, transactional or corrective avoidant leadership). Additionally evaluated was the way in which different leadership profiles are associated with leader perception on Organizational Citizenship Behaviour and Team Performance. Through a sample of medium level leaders and team managers of startups (N=24) and established companies (N= 50), a cluster analyses was conducted, which allowed to identify three profiles: Distant Rewarder (P1), Moderate Leader (P2) and Transactor (P3). As expected, results show that there are no significant differences between the identified leadership profiles in a startup and established companies context and it´s the Transactor profile, mainly transactional, that presents a more positive perception of Organizational Citizenship Behaviour and Team Performance.
