This thesis investigates the strategic incorporation of metaverse technologies in healthcare, specifically emphasizing their capacity to improve patient satisfaction and operational effectiveness. The study evaluates the utilization of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), digital twins, and artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare industry. These technologies possess the capacity to transform patient involvement, offer immersive education, and enhance remote monitoring and telemedicine services. Nevertheless, the implementation of their ideas is impeded by notable obstacles, such as technological constraints, exorbitant expenses, and regulatory and ethical considerations. To assess the strategic capabilities of these technologies and the main barriers to their implementation, the study conducted qualitative interviews with experts. To address these challenges, it is necessary to implement comprehensive training programs, establish strong data protection measures, and make strategic financial investments. The study's findings indicate that the seamless incorporation of Metaverse technologies can result in healthcare services that are tailored to individual needs, streamlined, and highly productive, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and contentment. The research provides valuable insights for healthcare organizations, policymakers, and technology providers in effectively incorporating these advanced digital tools into the healthcare system.
