Electric mobility is a concept that has been developed all over the world. It is increasingly common to use electric vehicles in society, whether these are cars, bicycles, and others. The truth is that electric mobility is changing the way people move in their daily lives, promoting a “clean” and economical means of transportation. However, electric mobility still seems to have not been able to find its space in all sectors of activity, such as in the transport and logistics sector. This is a fundamental sector in the supply chain of many companies however it contributes to the emission of polluting gases into the atmosphere. In this sense, this dissertation intends to assess how electric mobility can impact the supply chain. In this way, by using a qualitative methodology, interviews were carried out with companies in the transport and logistics sector, in order to understand their vision regarding electric vehicles and their opinion regarding a possible transition to the use of an electric vehicle electric fleet. Through the research of the existing literature and the comparison with the answers obtained in the interviews, it is possible to conclude that EVs still need to mature their technology, since, currently, they still cannot satisfy the needs of transport and logistics companies. However, companies are open to invest in this technology as soon as it becomes more advanced. Regarding the supply chain, if the costs related to the use of EVs prove to be cheaper than the costs associated with combustion vehicles, the impact it will have on the supply chain will be mainly economic and environmental.
