This dissertation focuses on work performed through digital platforms, in the various configurations that it may assume. The unavoidable question of the qualification of the legal relationship at stake is addressed. In this context, it is possible to identify an employment contract. This problem serves as a precedent to the analysis of the central issue that we are focusing on the use of algorithms as coadjuvant tools in the management, lato sensu, of the workforce. Beyond ethical issues, this phenomenon, which can be referred to as algorithmic management, raises numerous legal problems, which call for the principle of equality and non-discrimination, as well as the protection of personal data.
