: incremento à prática de ensemble de flautas no ensino especializado da música

Abstract

This Pedagogical Intervention Project, hereafter referred to as PIP, entitled A Chamber Music Festival for the Transversal Flute: Enhancing flute ensemble practice in specialized music education. The Festival was carried out in the context of the curricular unit Professional Training which is part of the master’s in music teaching program of the School of Arts of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. This PIP took place at the Ponte de Lima branch of Academia de Música Fernandes Fão, a school of Specialized Artistic Teaching of Music, in the recruitment groups M09 - Transversal Flute and M32 - Ensemble Music. In this project, a festival was held at the school where the PIP was developed, with the participation of both internal and external students. The theme of this project focused on two concepts that naturally coexist, one of them is the chamber music variant and the other, the conception and insertion of this musical dimension in a festival developed and directed around Chamber Music. This festival was intended to show the work developed 0by Chamber Music groups, as well as to give the participants the opportunity to work with specialized teachers with experience in Chamber Music, also having the opportunity to know the reality of this professional aspect in the voices of speakers who develop their professional activity in this specific branch of Music.
