Um jardim interior

Abstract

This essay aims to portrait the whole production process of the short film Um Jardim Interior (An Inner Garden), developed as the Final Project of the Master’s Degree in Cinema. This document allows the reader to understand the creative and technical process behind the entire year of production, from conception to execution. This perspective is narrated from the view of the filmmaker, who has been present in all the different stages of development to pursue a coherent result. Throughout the document, the author expresses a concurrent will, crucial to understand the process, in which one confronts the concept of Memory. It builds an aesthetical sense based on cinematic references that help in getting close to the diverse realities to be documented.
