Abstract

The resurrection event is nuclear in Christianity. Through it, God interacts with mankind to attract man to Himself. However, the discernment of the resurrection’s consequences for mankind constitute a challenging task for Theology, due to a constant risk of incurring in less supported steps. The doubts at stake appear from this base: what does the resurrection of Jesus has to do with me? Why is it necessary to announce the resurrection? Is the resurrection important for my life today? Does God give me a new way of living my body and in my body through it? To project an approach to the way God relates Himself with man in resurrection, the work developed by Emmanuel Falque shall lead the proposed reflection. In a first chapter is presented the way in which the author approaches the problem so that in the second one his Theology of resurrection can be exposed. In a third chapter, there is a brief presentation of the actual state of the Theology of the resurrection and Falque’s contribution for the debate.
